    Health Benefits of Cacao

    • Cacao products are rich in disease-fighting plant compounds including flavanols, which have antioxidant, heart-protective, and anti-cancer properties. It's also a good source of iron, fiber, and magnesium. However, these benefits can be lost during processing. Choosing products that are unsweetened, like cacao nibs, can help you to minimize the calorie and sugar-intake that comes with more processed products.
    • Health Benefits of Chickpeas
    • Chickpeas are high in fiber, protein, and healthy fats and have a low GI. Potential benefits of chickpeas include helping control blood sugar, manage weight, and support heart and gut health. Chickpeas are versatile, so you can add them to many savory or sweet meals and snacks.
    • Health Benefits of Bananas
    • Bananas offer a versatile and delicious way to boost your health and well-being. What's more, they're a natural source of sweetness, which can satisfy a sweet tooth craving without all the added sugar and additives in processed sweet treats.
    • Health Benefits of Dates
    • Dates are sweet fruits in many varieties, such as fresh, wet, semi-dry, and dry. The antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins in dates help support brain, digestive, and heart health and protect against disease. You can use dates as a sweetener in recipes for smoothies or oatmeal or eat them as is.
