It all started when we met at church. We quickly fell in love and bonded over shared values— our desire to live a set apart life for God—and a love for food! Before we knew it, we were married and doing life together! My husband has celiacs disease, and I was determined, from when we first met, to transition into a gluten-free lifestyle. I wanted to better understand his world and connect with him on a deeper level. We now both live a completely gluten-free life! This decision led us to discover new ways of cooking and bonding over the kitchen, and over time, we’ve created a collection of tasty, gluten-free dishes that we’re excited to share with you. They are meals that are comforting, delicious, and enjoyable for everyone.

My husband was diagnosed with celiac disease at 17 years old after years of struggling with stomach pains that no doctor could figure out. He went from one doctor to another, each offering different diagnoses, until a doctor ran the right tests and found that he had celiac disease—a condition that runs in his family, as his mother also has it. His journey with celiac helped me understand more about the challenges of living gluten-free, and it strengthened our connection as we navigated this lifestyle together.
As John 13:34 says, ‘Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.’ This verse resonates deeply with us as we’ve embraced the importance of taking care of our bodies and each other. Cooking together has become a cherished activity in our lives, and we’re often inspired by my mother-in-law’s cooking. She’s an incredible cook, and we’ve learned so much from her.
We understand how busy life can get—between work, personal commitments, and everything else that comes with adulting, it’s easy to let health take a backseat. But we believe that health and wellness should ALWAYS be a priority. After all, we are what we eat, and the food we put into our bodies directly impacts how we feel, think, and function. That’s why, no matter how hectic our days are, we make sure to prioritize gluten-free meals that are nourishing, balanced, and wholesome. We’ve found that taking the time to cook and eat well not only helps us feel our best, but also brings us closer together as a couple. And we’ve also found a lot of meal prepping / planning methods that help us with the business of life, and are so excited to share them with you!
